APTO is getting an upgrade: what’s new?

The updated APTO is live and brings a number of useful updates. Whether you’re working on scaling content, managing scroll behavior, or retrieving skin dimensions, these improvements offer more control and flexibility. In this blog, we’ll walk you through the most important changes.

Smarter scaling options for #content

We’ve adjusted how #content is scaled, now taking multiple factors into account when evaluating available space, and it’s now easier to switch between the different scaling modes.

Scroll limit for #scalableContent

Another important addition is the scroll limit for #scalableContent. This means the content no longer scrolls beyond the length of the wallpaper, resulting in a cleaner and more controlled user experience. Want to see how this works? Check out these examples:

New helper functions for skin dimensions

Finally, we’ve added helper functions that make it easy to retrieve the current width and height of skins.

The spec sheet and template remain unchanged; only the file has been updated.
