Now more than ever, the importance of Information Security and Privacy has become more and more prevalent for organizations across Europe. At Adways, we have been proactively invested in strengthening our security and privacy frameworks, fitting more into our new identify more as a display-first company.

We have joined and achieved verified status with the Security Verified Programme, developed by the ICT Institute: A practical security standard for small and midsize organizations, compatible with ISO 27001 and includes privacy and GDPR requirements. Over the past year, the team at Adways worked together to document processes, assess risks, implement controls and formalize procedures procedures that were already part of our daily operations, resulting in better governance and a structured approach when it comes to Privacy.

ISO 27001 alignment

A key benefit of Security Verified status is the compatibility with ISO 27001. The framework helps organizations implement the core elements of an Information Security Management System.

The Security Verified requirements covers areas such as:

• Risk Management and security governance
• Access and Asset management
• Incident Response and supplier management
• Business continuity, privacy and GDPR compliance
• The 2024 standard was updated to make it easier to use alongside ISO 27001:2022. This gives organizations a structured starting point and support a future transition towards ISO 27001 certification if desired.

Certification

At the end of September 2026, Adways was audited by two external auditers, and successfully passed the audit and achieved Security Verified certification. However, this only means that we’re at the beginning of an ongoing process to stay up to date to the latest threats and regulations and continue to evolve the process.
